Opening scene from Shake ‘Em On Down, new video by Boston’s hillbilly punkers Dead Trains, greatly resembles a certain scene from the movie Sling Blade. Nameless angry manager (portrayed by Rebuilder‘s Brandon Phillips) just about matches Doyle’s evil energy/intensity.
The rest of the video (directed by Humar Miranda) alternates between live footage of the band and some hefty destruction/mayhem that matches nicely with a thrashy tempo kicking in during later part of the song.
Catch Dead Trains playing Charlie’s Kitchen show on June 25th – sharing the bill are Bucky Harris, Make It Up and Dogtooth. You can also read a review of County Road Bound from Nick Panagakos.
