New/Upcoming – Nadja, Tomahawk, Om and more!

To say that Aidan Baker is prolific would be an understatement – this year alone saw the release of his split with Nadja member Leah Buckareff and a double solo album entitled The Spectrum Of Distraction.
As if this wasn’t enough, there’s a new release from Nadja in the works  – its called Dagdrøm and will be released via Broken Spine label on October 30.
The album will feature contributions from former Jesus Lizard drummer Mac McNeilly and is described as being heavily influenced by the likes of Big Black and JL.

Speaking of Jesus Lizard
As reported earlier, Tomahawk is back from an extended hiatus! Their new album is entitled Oddfellows and was recorded at Dan Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound Studio in Nashville.
The album is scheduled for early 2013 release via Ipecac and will be preceded by a tour and an appearance at The Voodoo Music Experience festival in New Orleans.
In the meantime, you can check out an album teaser.

Finally, OM got a new album out!
Advaitic Songs is a 5-track LP which was produced by Steve Albini and takes its title from a reference to the Hindu school of thought regarding the self and a greater whole.
