It should come as no surprise, then, that this year was especially busy for Speedy Ortiz – they released Foil Deer LP, toured Europe and produced a David Lynch-styled video for My Dead Girl. The band is currently signed to Carpark Records.
SO is kicking off their Girls Rock Camp benefit tour with a show at Providence, RI AS220 (along with Downtown Boys and Whore Paint). The 11 day tour will take the band through Boston, Philadelphia, Brooklyn and Baltimore, among other cities. Tour dates (via Brooklyn Vegan):
