17th (!!!) studio album from Japanese sludge/drone-meisters Boris is now available for streaming via Spin and AOL Spinner.
While hardcore Boris fanatics may recognize a few of the tracks from this year’s snaky Attention Pleaseand stoner-glazed Heavy Rocks, New Album is a beaming ode to optimism and joy — an awesomely wild detour from the band who nicked their name (and sound) from a Melvins song.
“The New Album” is now available as LP/CD via Sargent House. You can also check out two tracks from the album – “Flare” (stream only) and “Spoon” (mp3).
