This is the debut for ifitisn’t on Focused Silence, the Experimental record label. The duo comprises of Robinson & Kalnars – who both have musical pedigree. Bracketed as electro-acoustic, Robinson is responsible for the electronic darkness of the pieces on this two track mini cd and Kalners brings a æthereal touch using voice, piano, keyboard, melodion, recorder, viola, percussives and found objects to make sounds to move the listener into a relaxed, enticing, intriguing and somewhat exciting space.

I don’t think there’s any song that describes suicidal ideation more poetically or beautifully.

I saw a lot of good shows in 2007 and one of the very best was Smog with Joanna Newsom on piano in a church during SXSW. The song “Sycamore” means so much to me for a lot of different reasons. Thanks to @let_it_bea for finding the clip. https://t.co/rTWNKfgD94

Song of the day the day. We listened to Lightning Bolt while cleaning yesterday and it reminded me of that ridiculous era of shows where the noise felt like a celebration, a ritual to cast of the boring and bad. https://t.co/yz9nSyvVAB
