Tracklist
Siavash Amini – A Collective Floundering (Hallow Ground)
Siavash Amini returns to Hallow Ground with »A Mimesis of Nothingness,« his fourth album for the Swiss label. Following up on »Harmistice« together with fellow Iranian artists 9T Antiope, the six tracks were conceived in close collaboration with another artist and see the prolific composer intensify his interdisciplinary approach. The six tracks enter a dialogue with the photographs of Nooshin Shafiee, an acclaimed artist whose work capturing their hometown Tehran becomes the starting point for one of Amini’s most visceral and haunting records. »A Mimesis of Nothingness« translates the ephemeral situations and melancholic moods of Shafiee’s pictures into suspenseful soundscapes that masterfully navigate between the concrete and the abstract.

Christine Ott – Burning (Nahal Recordings)
If Christine Ott has often accompanied other musicians on Ondes Martenot (Yann Tiersen, Tindersticks, Raphelson, Dominique A, Syd Matters, Oiseaux-Tempête, FOUDRE!…), it is the first time that she decides to place her strange instrument at the center of her compositions, entrusting the musical production to Paul Régimbeau (Mondkopf) and Frédéric D. Oberland (Oiseaux-Tempête) manipulating the original sound waves live via effect boxes and sonic modulations external to the instrument. A solo album made with several hands that plunges the precious matrix, via a current repertoire half composed/half improvised, in the prism of the last hundred years of experimental music, electronic culture and habitus to synthetic sounds.
BELARISK – Yellow Door or Cream Colored Veil (Gryd Complex)
This album was composed while spending long nights staring into the winters flame, while spilling diesel fuel, while speeding from Maine logging towns to coastal Rhode Island, while stacking thousands of stones & breaking just a few, while the thorns pricked, while I ate vegetables, fruits & fish, while the moon produced a new gargoyle, while you bent silk over your eyes, while I dreamed of a red rotting root, regenerating.
Blau Grisenc – An Empty Bliss (Self Released)
Proyecto de electronica experimental.
