LG (DLE) on “Warm Body”:
When you look to the film of Warm Body you can see the answer that you seek.
The image is of a ghost.
The lyrics “She was a warm body, she was a warm body to know.”
A former lover is now gone, nothing but an idea immortalized on film.
Our 1st two albums are concept albums bases around 2 of Nabokov’s books “Lolita” and “Pale Fire”. Stories seen through the eyes of the characters.
Humbert Humbert (The main character from the novel “Lolita”) looks back on his former child lover towards the end of the novel in remembrance of her as she has now grown into a woman and is pregnant with a child of her
own.  She is now gone to him.
Back to the film – You see the sexuality, the warmth of her smile and childlike playfulness as the waves knock her around.  But in the end the frames slow the singer moans the lyric over and over of “warm body” and she is
nothing more than a memory.
