New Music
Bill Orcutt – How to Rescue Things / My word this new Bill Orcutt album is spectacular. Bill doing his thing over loops of schmaltzy old tunes. Don’t sleep on this one – first run was gone in an hour – Brian H
pä – dialogue sur le sommeil / reel to reel loop of two sine waves of different frequencies through an analogue feedback circuit and two opposite attenuation notch filters (h/t JOHN//OBLADADA)

Cory Peterson

Listening Recommendations
The Library of Babel – blue nineteen (Blue Tapes) / People were and are really passionate about this release. It’s a bit of a special one. I discovered Library of Babel’s guitarist, Shane Parish – then known as Shane Perlowin – through his friend Tashi Dorji, who we had just one released one instant classic by.
Elaine Mitchener – Solo Throat / Singer, voice poet, improviser Elaine Michener with a beautiful tapestry of sounds emanating via her voice and it twists and slips in and out every conceivable crack and cranny. This is wonderful! – LittleTokyo
Th Blisks – Elixa (Efficient Space) / I got this the other day & it was an instant purchase for me since its the members of Troth as well as Yuta Matsumura. His album “Red Ribbons” on Low Company was one of my faves of recent times. Troth is pretty prolific but they always hit the mark – Tarotplane
Alan Sparhawk – Solo Guitar / It’s really cool if you’re like me and listen to slow music like Kali Malone and Morton Feldman, but also think Jim O’Rourke is a genius for deconstructing “Fast Car” – Roz
Veins Full Of Static – A House Wrapped In Sleep (Machine Records) / This is perfect for gazing at the winter sky, drinking a vat of coffee, & ignoring the things you really should be getting on with. Delectable sounds – Martyrs
