Indie rock legend Kristin Hersh (of Throwing Muses / 50 Foot Wave fame) is embarking on another part of her ongoing Live and Loud tour starting tomorrow and her first two stops would be in Massachusetts! She’s playing Iron Horse in Northampton on June 19 and Once Somerville on June 20 in support of Possible Dust Clouds LP that came out last year on Fire Records.
The rest of the tour will feature shows/stops in Connecticut, New York, Washington DC and Philadelphia, among many others. The full list of tour dates can be seen at Noise Journal.
We invite everyone to read an interview that Thor Maillet (aka Petridisch) conducted with Kristin in 2017. There’s an excellent 4AD themed mix that Thor did which includes Finished by Throwing Muses as well as cuts by This Mortal Coil, Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance and others.
Last, but not least – we asked our followers to pick their favorite Kristin Hersh song(s). Here are the results!
