Thurston Moore is hitting the road early next year in support of his latest LP Demolished Thoughtsย (Matador). One thing that most likely won’t get any support during the tour is his divorce with Kim Gordon.
The tour will kick off in Hartford, CT early next year and as Consequence of Sound points out:
Tonight,ย Sonic Youthย is set to play what may be their final show ever in Brazil. (A divorce does awful things.) This leavesย Thurston Mooreย with plenty of time on his hands. Perhaps thatโs why heโs hitting the road again come January for another round of dates in support of his latest LP,ย Demolished Thoughts.
While we canโt tell how heโs feeling on the inside, Moore definitely wonโt feel too alone on stage. Much likeย his previous tour this year, heโll again be joined by Keith Wood, Mary Lattimore, John Maloney, and Samara Lubelski. But wait, thereโs another face returning to the fold: Kurt Vile.ย The Philly roots rocker will open in both Somerville and D.C. โ talk about a show for the weekend.
