Post-Independence Marathon – Louisiana Mix by Guns of the Seneca

[easy-image-collage id=47850] July 4th may be over, but since here at IHN we feel that US is moving in the wrong direction, we would like to offer the only remedy we know of! Music, music and more music – covering all 50 states via both guest mixes and mixes of our own making with marathon lasting until the end of July!
Up first is a guest mix from Grant Oliver, bassist for Louisiana instrumental rockers Guns of the Seneca:
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=”15″]Guns of the Seneca is an experimental, multi-genre trio formed in late 2007 by bassist Grant Olivier, guitarist David Plair, and drummer Britton Frost. “Guns of the Seneca” refers to mistpouffers — mysterious booming noises heard over Lake Seneca, NY that are thought to be the guns and cannons of the lost soldiers of the Battle of Seneca Town during the Revolutionary War. [/perfectpullquote] GotS got one full-length under their belt (2016 Citizens of the Universe) and Ballistic Panspermia, single that came out this year and is featured in the mix of Louisiana favorites that Grant made for us!
