King Buzzo w/ Trevor Dunn: Gift of Sacrifice (Ipecac, 2020)
the second solo album from Melvins’ King Buzzo, featuring special guest Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle, Fantomas)
Buddie – Diving (Crafted Sounds)
Originally the solo expression of Dan Forrest in 2015, and now a full band, Buddie is a 4-piece act from Philadelphia, PA that writes fuzzy, poppy, rock songs about social anxiety, environmentalism, and trying to be a good person. In early 2019 they solidified their lineup and released EP Change of Scenery. Following this release, they performed regionally at venues, DIY spaces, and even Philly’s House of Vans pop-up event, which featured Yowler and Tierra Whack. Building on the recent success of a long time coming, they recorded their first full-length record in the following winter.
Dream Division – The Devil Rides Out (Library Of The Occult)
“Dream Division’s imaginative score breathes new life into Dennis Wheatley’s occult Classic ‘The Devil Rides Out’. Light a candle, turn the lights low and let this electronic masterpiece transport you into the unknown” Tony Giles ‘The Record Room’
DD is a solo project of Tom McDowell

Library of Babel – Sing to Me of… ( Red Eft Records / Hypnic Jerk Tapes)
Second album by Library of Babel, a long standing string trio of good friends. Our friend Patrick was able to find us a beautiful idyllic spot to record in Spring of 2018, and we had a kinetic session drawing from our established language and the text of the Sacred Harp, a musical canon that has long held fascination for all of us.
Shane Parish: guitar and vocals
Emmalee Hunnicutt: cello and vocals
Frank Meadows: bass
Alain Johannes – Hum (Ipecac Recordings)
The third solo album from the Chilean-American multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, who is a founding member of several bands, including the alternative rock group Eleven, and has been involved with acts such as Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, PJ Harvey, Chris Cornell, Arctic Monkeys, Mark Lanegan and The Desert Sessions, both as a musician and as a producer
Boris – NO (Fangs Anal Satan)
Jordan Nobles – Chiaroscuro (Redshift Music)
two compositions for chamber orchestra
Vula Viel – What’s Not Enough About That: Reimagined (Self Released)
remixes by Peter Zummo, Ibibio Sound Machine & Leafcutter John
via Bill Barnett
Mouchoir Étanche – Kommuniqué Zéro (Dekorder)
An end and a new beginning. Kommuniqué Zéro is the debut outing of new Black To Comm related entity Mouchoir Ètanche. And it is the final release in Dekorder’s 10-Year Anniversary Hybrid-Vinyl Series (a mere 7 years too late). Combining real and fake acoustic instrumentation, sampling, field recordings and excessive yet inaudible post production this is a powerful statement of intent. Influences are ranging from (French) Classical & Opera to the anecdotical compositions of Luc Ferrari, Chinese Opera, Sacred Music, Collage and Free Improvisation.

Nick Klein & Wilted Woman – Cafe Music 2: Werewolves of London (Alien Jams)
Another Café – the sophomore Café – following last year’s ‘Café Kotti’ tape sees Wilted Woman and Nick Klein back as a live electronics duo. Their second freeform performance took place at London’s Café Oto in September 2019 during an Alien Jams night. With more preparation but the same amount of looseness, the pair steer away from genre definition and self-importance, manipulating recordings from jam sessions, skillfully altering samples from various sources alongside modular synths patterns. The result ‘Cafe Music 2 : Werewolves Of London’ is a spellbinding flow of meditative drones, beatless rhythmic explorations and unsettling melodies.
Squelch Chamber – Nightmarish (Imploding Sounds / Cursed Monk Records)
Pummeling sludgy noise rock from Pennsylvania, for fans of Chat Pile, Godflesh, Bastard Noise, and The Endless Blockade.
