Boo Hiss – Sike Jazz (Deathbomb Arc) / The follow up with Boo Hiss’ debut ‘Sike Roc’ doesn’t simply go deeper down the rabbit hole, it finds holes side channels and hidden caverns to explore. Continuing Todd Drootin’s (aka Books on Tape) methodology of fighting instinct in order to create beyond the limitations of bias, Boo Hiss sounds at once alien and familiar – a result of both chance and the subconscious – tempered by decades of skill and experience to keep everything in place.

Hound Dog Taylor’s Hand – Congratulations / magmatic skronk spasms, a surplus of scorched-earth guitar heroics, ~30 minutes of free-rock catharsis by people conversant with fantastic jazz records – Dave Segal

Shane Parish – Viscera Eternae (Ramble Records) / Great big old slab of solo guitar jamming right here. Two tracks totaling 45 mins. One with steel strings, the other with nylon strings. Exploratory, but accessible. Really dig Shane’s work in general but am totally loving this – Marco Esquandolas

Factor Chandelier – Time Invested II (Fake Four) / 20 years after the release of his first album, Factor Chandelier has created Time Invested II, a nostalgic and energetic compilation reminiscent of how his music career started / up for pre-order / out in March

Daniel Bachman – Lonesome Weary Blues (3 Lobed) / Absolutely gorgeous fingerpicking album – Man From Atlantis

Steve Lynch – Let Us Prey OST (Burning Witches) / Amazing score not to be missed
