Burn My Letters – Report Card

We still got pre-order going for Burn My Letters – first solo album by Bill Whitten (ex-St Johnny / Grand Mal). The album features contributions from former/present members of Mercury Rev, Joan as Police Woman, August Wells and Interpol. It was mastered by Dave Fridmann at Tarbox Road Studios.
St. Johnny was signed to Geffen by request from members of Sonic Youth and appeared on Geffen Rarities Vol. 1 compilation alongside Weezer, SY, Hole, Nirvana and countless others. Grand Mal, Bill’s next band, put out releases on Slash and Arena Rock (also a home to Superdrag, Elf Power, Luna and Minus the Bear). You can read our post detailing the history of both Grand Mal and St Johnny.

As a way of saying “thank you” to everyone that wrote and tweeted about Burn My Letters in those last few weeks we’re collecting all the mentions and reviews of BML. We also got a couple of podcasts that played the tracks off of BML to mention!
