With more than 350 shows under their belt and numerous EPs and full-lengths, Ho-Ag got some experience to prove that they’re more than one-trick pony. Band’s bio (which can be found on their official website) describes them as “a weird mess of sci-fi B-movie spazz-rock drama songs.” and their instrumentation, according to the same bio, “includes guitars, bass, Moog synths, theremin and drums”.
Their debut was 2002 show at the Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain during which they shared the bill with USAISAMONSTER, Young Sexy Assassins, and Tunnel Of Love. During that year, they also released a couple of self-made CDRs, including “The Meteor Is A Decoy” and “People Coming Back In Time For Me”.
In 2003, they released their first full-length – “Ho Ag Equals Go At”, followed by tour through the East Coast and Midwest. Next band, the band recorded more material in the form of “Pray For The Worms” EP (which came out in 2005) and they also started Hive 35, their own record label.
During the fall of 2005, the band went on “Handsome Halloween” tour, during which they got a chance to play with Melvins and Jello Biafra. The subsequent years brought more material, including 2006 “The Word From Pluto” LP, 2007 Elektro EP and 2008 “Doctor Cowboy” LP.
