As numerous sites reported (e.g., Sputnikmusic, Ritual Room, Fourth Eye) Hydra Head is scheduled to release Melvins/Isis 12-inch split. It will include two songs from each band with Isis presenting two tracks from Wavering Radiant sessions and Melvins presenting two new versions of songs off of their latest album – The Bride Screamed Murder.
On a related note, in 2005 Isis recorded a cover Melvins track “Boris”, which made its way to a tribute compilation”We Reach”. In turn, Melvins and Lustmord provided a remix of Isis track “Not In Rivers But In Drops” to 2006 EP of the same name.
