Music Interviews
Looking back at our interview with Lee Ranaldo – currently the most popular IHN upload on Mixcloud (with Dylan Carlson interview and David Grubbs mix coming at #2 and #3, respectively).
We also got footage of Lee playing some of material from Electric Trim at Once Somerville (part of the set also included a cover of Velvet Underground’s Ocean, an homage to Lou Reed).
We also asked our readers/followers to come up with their Lee Ranaldo favorites – they could also name Sonic Youth tune of choice or anything related to his discography. The resulting playlist is below!
There’s also a nice collection of photos from Lee and Steve Gunn 2017 show at the Armory – all available via Noise Floor, blog run Boston-area photographer Ben Stas. And finally there’s a roundup of Sonic Youth related posts on IHN!
