Song Premiere: Sad Eyed Beatniks – Window Pane

As temperatures rise things also start heating up outside – instead of opening up politicians start fighting each other even more and even trains fail us. To cool things down and get away from all this turmoil we need an ultimate summer soundtrack and California’s Sad Eye Beatniks (aka K Linn) is more than happy to provide.
SEB’s latest single “Window Pane” brings forth the good times and the good vibes (just like any soundtrack should). Musically its not quite Chic and not quite Indian Summer either (although french toast with molasses might be on the menu), but rather a strummy folk song that puts you, the listener, at ease and takes all your worries away for a moment.

As a side note – we’re just about as intrigued about the upcoming album’s title as you are. For our money the word “bestnik” means “two of the best beatnik friends”, possibly picnicking together which would help explain the tranquil atmosphere on the new single.
