Skyjelly Solilians Vinyl Split
Just a reminder – pre-order for our first vinyl release/7″ split is still open and will stay that way until March 14! As you can see – the people spoke and they did so loud and clear. And what’s not to love? With vinyl version of the split you get an amazing track by whirling dervishes/enigmatic dragons Skyjelly and another amazing track by Jewish space rock/drone explorers Solilians.
But wait – there’s more!
With a digital version you get all 6 (amazing) tracks – same goes for a CD version carried by our British friends at Wormhole World. CD version is limited to 25 copies, so better act quick because last time we checked there were only 14 of those left!
Worthy to mention too that both bands are still hard at work – Skyjelly put out Don’t Be Sad single in late February, while Goodbye Better, run by Ben Malkin from Solilians, put out self-titled EP by Yar Dreams of Sela, “an Ambient Clawhammer from the heart of Long Island.” We highly recommend everyone to check out side projects and associates of both bands – Dr. Wolfbear, Electric Djinn and The Earthly Frames (there’s also One More Mile to Providence mix series we put together for our previous showcase that might be of help).
Last, but not least….the show!
Yes – the show we’re doing at Pete’s Candy Store in New York on March 14! It will feature both Skyjelly and Solilians plus an amazing band called the 1865 which was described by Vernon Reid (Living Colour) as “The Only Band That Matters. Right about NOW.” The show is totally free, so if you’re anywhere near NYC come along and bring a friend!
