Rats is a trio comprised of former Godzik Pink members Jonathan Silberman and Erik Kiersnowski, as well Kelly Kawar. They started out in 2007 and their debut LP came out on September 18 and features artwork by Hannah Greely.
Word of warning, though – anyone expecting Godzik Pink V. 2 will be disappointed. Judging by samples posted on the band’s website, they play straightforward jazz as opposed to Godzik’s brand of avant-jazz madness.
