Sons of Kemet – Your Queen is a Reptile (Impulse!, 2018) – suggested by Franco Formica
Swervedriver – Drone Lover (Dangerbird, 2019) – Seems like all our favorite 90s shoe-gaze type bands are back in action. Here’s the second track from the new record from due out 1/25 on (suggested by Nada Mucho)
Puce Mary – The Drought (Pan, 2018) – suggested by Zanntone
Thistle Group – S/T (Self Released, 2016) – More than a year late to be saying so, but the Thistle Group album () is … adjectives escape me. I just love it immoderately (suggested by Clinical Wasteman)
Andrew Tasselmyer – Tines (Flag Day Recordings, 2018) – In case you missed it – new tape out on Flag Day Recordings now. Heavily processed Fender Rhodes piano captured live
Kid Acne – South Yorks (Lex Records, 2007) – suggested by Disco Insolence
Mongrels – Over Eggin’ It (Invisible Spies, 2018) – New ‘ish from Kid Acne crew – featuring Jason Williamson from Sleaford Mods (suggested by The  Night Train)
Mica Levi – Delete Beach (DDS, 2017) – suggested by Frater Mescalito
Liquorice – Cheap Cuts (4AD, 1995) – 1995 song “Cheap Cuts” by 1990s indie band Liquorice. Lead vocals by Jenny Toomey, formerly of band Tsunami. From the 4AD album Listening Cap. (suggested by Sean Walters)
Alpha Tango – Kantjamz E.P. (Self Released, 2018) – new EP from Accidental Tones. Lo-fi, abrasive, throw equipment down the stairs, , + experiments using the Oi Kant! from | Mastered by JC Blackley aka
The High Llamas – Tambourine Day (Duophonic Super 45s, 2000 / Drag City, 2004) – suggested by Methodrone
Black Rain – Metal Rain 1989-1993 (DKA Records, 2018) – The archival 12″ on DKA–capturing the project as a full band, bashing out grumpy, clanging underground rock/industrial, with touches of metal guitar and tapes/sampling–is quite good. It also stands out for the time (late ’80s) (suggested by Justin Farrar)
Bary Center – Vaya Con Dios (Self Released, 2019) – New Vid shot over the summer at many state fairs, amusement parks, and carnivals in WV, KY, and Ohio.
ENE – Walking to the Store (Unreleased) – Recently an older track.
