Canadian trio Metz needs little introduction – over the last few years they signed to Sub Pop, toured relentlessly, put out 3 full lengths and splits with the likes of Mission of Burma and John Reis (Rocket From the Crypt / Drive Like Jehu). So it is with great pleasure that we announce the arrival of a mix compiled by the band’s guitarist/vocalist Alex Edkins!
Worthy to mention too – there’s a mix that Justin Pearson (Three One G) made for IHN. It features Eraser by Metz as well as numerous cuts from Qui, Daughters, Arab on Radar, Ex Models and more!

Mix comes in two flavors (Spotify and Youtube) and covers a wide territory ranging from proto/post-punk to no wave to garage rock to noise rock to free jazz. Think Husker Du, Cherubs, John Coltrane, Robert Pollard, John Fahey and Polvo (to name just a few of those featured).
