IHN Fest 2023 // Kendraplex in Photos and Videos (Pt. 1)

While there’s little good to be said about the bird site once known as Twitter, it could still deliver on a rare occasion. One such occasion was IHN follower Kendraplex (aka Kendra Amalie) asking your truly whether we host shows in Boston. The answer was “yes, we very much do!” and the work commenced on IHN Fest 2023…

Fast forward to November 2023 and Kendra played our State Park show – with Skyjelly and Senseless Optimism rounding out the bill. Little did we know just how storied Kendra’s career really is – her first credit on Discogs goes all the way back to 2007! Prolific too…this year alone produced a split with Sharkiface (via No Sides) and The Crystal Arms! cassette on Trouble in Mind, one by Kendra’s band Names Divine.

So without further ado…here’s a clip of Kendraplex playing as yet untitled track at State Park! Beautifully captured by Hsiu Chang, just as the rest of the set.
