Across ambient textures, drones and musique concrète, a range of evolving environmental and psychological soundscapes have been created in dialogue with Sylvia Path's 'Crossing the Water' – each track is titled after a line from the poem and incorporates synths, samples and field recordings.

 

The main theme of the album is celebrating moments of light when consumed by darkness, notably inspired by the wonders of nature: the magic of water, the sway of flowers and trees, the movement of cloud and sky.
