Artist Profile – Mike Patton

Born: January 27, 1968
Bands: Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Fantomas, Hemophiliac, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom, Lovage, Kaada / Patton,  Maldoror, General Patton vs. The X-Ecutioners, House Of Discipline
There’s a reason why Mike Patton is often referred to as “Luciano Pavarotti of rock world”, since the range of his vocal work is enormous – from being a crooner a-la Sinatra to accompanying some of the noisiest and difficult music records, he always comes through as an extremely talented and versatile performer.
While he’s mostly known for his work with Faith No More (who recently reunited after a decade+ absence), Mike Patton keeps himself busy with countless other projects/bands and he also runs his own label Ipecac. In addition to music, his second big love is movies, as he lend his voice to such films as “I Am Legend” and “Metalocalypse”, wrote score for “Crank: High Voltage” and appeared in 2005 thriller “Firecracker”.
