Historical Note – Type is a record label which was started by John Twells (a.k.a. John Xela) and Stefan Lewandowski in 2002 in UK. Since 2009, Twells  is running the label “from a small office-cum-studio in Massachusetts.” To find out more, visit label’s official site.

Deaf Center – Owl Splinters
DC is a “shadowy Norwegian duo” of Erik Skodvin and Otto Totland and Owl Splinters is their sophomore album (a follow-up to 2005 Pale Ravine). For more info and the Soundcloud stream of the album head over here.

Jazkamer – Chestnut Thornback Tar
Jazkamer is a noise duo of  Norwegian musicians John Hegre and Lasse Marhaug. “Chestnut” is a part of their ambitious album-a-month subscription series which came out in May. For more info and a Soundcloud stream head over here.

Rene Hell – The Terminal Symphony
Rene Hell is nom de plume of Jeff Witscher (Foot Village, Deep Jew) and The Terminal Symphony is his “debut proper album” under the moniker, which follows a slew of collaborations, 7″ records and splits. For more info a Soundcloud stream of the album head over here.

Ezekiel Honig – Folding In On Itself
