Where Are They Now // Gone in 60 Seconds Compilation – Tree No Leaves

Last August marked 10th anniversary of the release of our first digital compilation – Gone in 60 Seconds, Vol. 1! As the title indicates its a collection of 1-minute tracks that eventually turned into entire series.

As a way of celebration, we thought it would be great to follow-up with its participants and see what they were up to since the release.  Up first are Tree No Leaves, a band out of Ohio whose contribution to Gone was Dirty Traipser.

Based in Bowling Green, OH, Tree No Leaves is a quintet that flows between genres and eras of psychedelic rock and soul.

Psych/ambient/rock band formed circa 2008 by Dustin Ray Galish. The project has performed live and recorded with a collective of musicians and have a collection of over 20 online releases. These recordings range from studio albums, concert recordings, and improv/loop based cassette tapes.

TNL just released a new LP called The Eyes of Xylem described as

Conceptual graphic album features 8 tracks accompanied by a 20 page full color graphic novel and a doubled sided 7″ vinyl with select tracks from the album.

Its a follow-up to 2018 Prophet Holographic, which came out on Grounds for Thoughts Recordings.
