We’re in for another dose of animated fun from Boston’s The Prefab Messiahs! Picking up where the last year’s The Man Who Killed Reality video left off, (Don’t Give Up On) Beautiful Things is a love letter to the psychedelic 60s.
While TMWKR video was focused squarely on our dear leader, Beautiful Things is more abstract in nature. Think endless geometric shapes swirling and rotating and some of the harmonies materializing as giant letters.
You don’t need to take acid to appreciate everything that happens in the video (though song lyrics never explicitly state you shouldn’t either, so the final choice is up to you, the listener!).
