You know that scene in the zombie move where the best friend of the main character gets bitten by a zombie just as you think everything is going to be ok? This is the soundtrack to that part. Intercourse has released their first full length LP “Everything is Pornography When You’ve Got an Imagination”. It has been released into the wild and this fucker bites back. This 11 track assault on the senses is from the other part of Connecticut; that part where you have to drive through, but never stop.
With song titles like Naugatuck’s Alright if You Like Suboxone, and, The Kids Are Alt-Right, Jay, Tarek, Caleb, and Timmy are bringing the heat with this one. Tarek’s voice is the weeping fist. Tears of rage and laughter fall all the way down each word while Jay, Caleb, and Timmy are performing surgery behind him. The surgery is going very well, but it looks like we may lose the patient. There are no survivors at the end of these songs. None will be spared.
The songs are presented as what I would imagine to be the interior monologue from a therapy session. Very calculated. Very precise. Very loud. Covering topics like alien implants, human frailty, being allergic to your own semen, and Dave Mustaine, it’s got something for everybody. You got a nephew whose birthday is coming up? Somebody got a need for a housewarming gift? Howzaboutta little something special for that special little someone in yer life?
HUR-RAY!HUR-RAY!HUR-RAY! DOWN TO CONSTANT DISSAPPOINTMENT RECORDS! SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED!
And the next time you’re driving through that part of Connecticut, that part that looks very pretty, but nobody seems to live there, stop on by. I’m sure they would love to meet you. They’re preparing for surgery.
