Tour Dates – No Age / Lightning Bolt

[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=”15″]Heads up: L.A. noise pop pill-pushers No Age just put out their latest album Snares Like a Haircut — their first full-length since 2013’s An Object — last Friday, and they are making up for their relatively quiet period in a loud-ass hurry by TOURING ALL OVER THE DAMN PLACE

Tiny Mix Tapes
[/perfectpullquote] Dates: February – May 2018
Places: US, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, France, UK
Stream/listen to three tracks off of Snare Like a Haircut on NA’s Bandcamp page and/or buy an LP from Drag City

But we can probably chalk-up this peculiar time-dilation phenomenon to the inevitable effect that those releases have on our internal biology. To wit: the reason every Lightning Bolt album feels like a current and landmark event is because your red blood cells, white blood cells, green blood cells, and other types of cells are all meandering through your blood stream and fucking headbanging fiercely while simultaneously carefully trying to avoid the pit in which other cells are enmeshed…perpetually! (Full disclosure: I’m not a biologist, but think twice the next time you blame Mexican food for your stomach ache.)

Places: New York, Washington, Baltimore, Raleigh, Knoxville, Louisville, Chicago, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Cambridge
While Lightning Bolt don’t have a new album coming out this year (or even an announcement) never say never. Here’s footage from our own Dr. Wolfbear who captured the band’s performance at last year’s Foo Fest in Providence
