New/Upcoming Muisc Releases – Shadows Of Forgotten Ancestors Soundtrack + Dross Glop

AHAAH recently finished recording their soundtrack to Sergei Parajanov’s 1964 film Shadows Of Forgotten Ancestors.
The album was produced by John Dieterich (Deerhoof) and is scheduled for release via L.M. Duplication.
The band is also touring with a soundtrack. For dates/details see this post.

Battles and Warp Records are preparing Dross Glop –  four-part 12″ vinyl remix series of material from their most recent LP Gloss Drop.
First part of the series came out in early February and features Gui Boratto (Wall Street) and The Field (Sweetie & Shag).
Dross Glop 2 is coming on Feb. 21st and will feature Alchemist, Shabazz Palaces and Kode9.
