For the first time on all streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.), found by clicking here
Edmund Berrigan’s (guitar and vocals) I Feel Tractor has been bringing the garage folk prophecy from New York City for decades. On this classic of the period, he was joined by KB Jones on the singing saw; Lightning Fay on harmonica, melodica, shaker, and vocals, and Solilians Shoshi on bass and vocals; Ben Malkin on drums and vocals; and Gabriel Walsh on keyboard, theremin, harmonium, as well as production duties.
Legendary Pittsburgh Space Rock band Aydin features Shannon Mominee on guitars, and vocals; Mark Russell on accordion, and vocals; and Karen Brooks on drums and vocals. ‘Cyclones & Honey’ is the ultimate expression of the hypnotic psychedelic currents running through these idiosyncratic, eccentric wizard’s and witch’s veins.
Berrigan’s most classic album, the poet extraordinaire is “…like doing a double take while listening to an old 78.” -Nadav Carmel, WMBR
Ideas Are Birds features Solilians Neptune Sweet (Electric Djinn) on keys and wordless vocals; David Gould on percussion; and Ben Malkin on bass; as well as additional member Victor Korvera on ukulele, water. (Also mastered by Merc Yes from Ifwhen and All Natural Lemon & Lime Flavors.). Live and fully improvised at Merry Parker’s closing party for her art exhibit at Columbia, except Exhibit E which was live at legendary Zebulon (the Williamsburg location), Ideas Are Birds conjures a magic never heard before or since, transporting you to a fantasy realm you may never want to leave.
