Moss & Swanke – S/T / I really like this collaboration between @themodernfolk.bsky.social and @johnswanke.bsky.social – lofi longform ambient folk guitar/synth improvisations teetering just on the right side of falling apart. Music you can get lost in – Folk Police Recordings
Laura Masotto – The Spirit of Things Reworks (h/t Lo-Fi Lush)
Monolake – Gravity / A stone cold classic to be rereleased in March. A perfect example of the use of negative space, which I believe is a technique that listeners either get from the start or never really get at all – InlandVampire777
ASC – Tales of Introspection (quiet details)
Old Town Crier – Motion Blur / It’s a lo-fi, alt-country thing. Free download.

Allister Thompson – Nowhere Is the Dreamer: Songs from a Gen X Canadian Youth / I did an album of Canadian songs of the 80s/90s by the likes of the Grapes of Wrath, Blue Rodeo, Rheostatics, Rush, etc. It’s fun putting spins on favourites from your youth. My rock star buddy Sean Kelly played hot licks on two songs. Attention, Canucks!
