Boston Events – Paper Circus Screening + Black Market

Tuesday, April 21st – first Hassle film screening! Luca DiPierro’s Paper Circus with live score provided by Father Murphy. Italian DJs before the show + Q & A with director after.

4/21/15 is a big day for the Hassle gang. It marks our FIRST EVER HASSLE FILM SCREENING! The film in question is the work of Italian director Luca Dipierro who uses a wide range of materials and techniques to bring his carnivalesque tales of acrobacy, sorrow and comedy to life. Paper Circus will be accompanied by a live score thanks to Italian dark noise duo Father Murphy who are dear friends and huge inspirations to the Hassle organization. This evening will begin with our Italian friends DJing appropriate tunes while everyone gets settled, followed by the film with live score and will conclude with a Q+A with the animator himself. It should be one special evening and a little something different for the Hassle org and it’s people. Please join us! Check the trailer for a taste of what to expect.
