End of the Year Favorite Albums Label Mixes
2026 promises to be one busy year for IHN – we got ton of records waiting in the wings, starting with the second Skyjelly/Solilians split! Here are few more names you might also want to memorize/look into – Tinned Meats, Modern Folk, rootless, Dystopiate and cinchel. Ah, but now I spilled too many secrets…time to rewind back to 2025.
Our sole physical 2025 release is Telepaths by William Carlos Whitten and his mysterious companion Diana Crash. The two met at a laundromat and bonded over their love for the literature. The end result became one of our most well received and well reviewed releases to date – 9 Bandcamp reviews serving as a good testimony. Furthermore, these are 3 end of the year lists that Telepaths ended up on – so lets dive in!
Hugh (Turn and Work)
The Author: Born and raised in rural Ontario, now based out of Toronto. I started Turn & Work as a time-waster in 2023, and now it consumes my life. My first loves were punk rock and science fiction.

Jeremy Fortier (Paper Jays)
The Author: Jeremy played viola in Leah Callahan’s (ex-Turkish Delight, Betwixt) band and more recently he joined Providence band Paper Jays. PJ opened for Etran de l’Air at TV Eye in NYC and also played with Robert Thomas (Sunburned Hand of the Man) band Stella Kola.
