This International Women’s Day we decided to let our followers take over and pick their favorite songs by female artists – and picked they did!
First up is Deeper Dive playlist from the supremely talented Kris Thompson of Prefab Messiahs.

More than 200 songs from the likes of Jane Weaver, Bong Wish, Moor Mother, Goat, Julie’s Haircut, Jex Thoth, Espers, Mary Timony, Chelsea Wolfe and many others.
Equally worthy of exploration is this seemingly endless thread by Matt Fifield (aka The Ardent Wake). Somewhere in the middle of the said thread Matt mentions that it was a result of terminal boredom at work – even so, if boredom produces results like these all we can say is “give us more!”
His list includes more than 60 cuts by The Ex, Matana Roberts, Helena Hauff, Sophie, TALsounds, Eartheater and others.
Last, but not least there’s this little dedication to a German label Monika Enterprise from Petridisch, the man behind our sister label Fish Prints!
