Minimalist early piece from Chris Bynes (aka blank videotapes / Lightning Pill), your 76th favorite black Aspergian musical polymath (Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, blogger, producer, poet) from Boston.
Solei is a painter, looper and symbol seeker living in Somerville, MA with roots from Maine. Both her music and her visual art come from the same source and are created through looping and layering. Loops are ideas in repetition, and repetition is
pattern. Layers are the relationships of different loops to each other. Neurons that fire together, wire together, creating patterns in our awareness that shape our perception of our own reality.
Wave Cave can be found on Water Games EP – Solei’s first (and only) official release at this point (she also records with Atlas Lab). Visit her website.
